Is my dog really welcome the whole way?

Every stop on the route is somewhere a dog is allowed, so there is no leave-him-in-the-car moment built into the day. Currituck County has no voice-control exception, so he is on a leash or in the vehicle whenever he is out.

The beach unlocks the story. Reach a stop and it opens the next chapter. Trivia at some, a photo challenge with the dog at others. One phone can run it for everybody, or each player follows along on their own. Cell service is strong the whole eleven miles, so every chapter loads where you stand.

Most days out here end with somebody sitting in the truck with the windows cracked while everyone else goes in somewhere. That does not happen on this route, because there is nowhere to go in. It is sand, horses, water and sky for eleven miles, and he is allowed at every single stop.
